Welcome to TaxSaver, operated by JawaSol Sdn Bhd (Registration No. 202401048922 (1594767-K)) ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, mobile application, and all related services (collectively, the "Platform").
Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using the Platform, creating an account, or otherwise agreeing, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

- 1. DEFINITIONS
- 1.1"User" refers to any individual and / or entity accessing or using the Platform.
- 2. PLATFORM PURPOSE AND ROLE
- 2.1The Platform operates exclusively as a digital tool to assist Users in tracking and managing their tax reliefs, zakat payments and claims in accordance with the Malaysian Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) guidelines. Our role is strictly limited to providing digital infrastructure for record-keeping and information. We are not tax consultants, financial advisors or legal experts. Users MUST consult with a qualified tax professional or the LHDN directly for specific tax advice.
- 2.2Users assume full and exclusive responsibility for the accuracy of the data entered into the Platform. We do not validate the eligibility of your claims or the authenticity of your receipts. The final determination of tax relief eligibility rests solely with Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri (LHDN).
- 2.3The Platform provides digitalization features (OCR) for receipts as a convenience. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy of the extracted data. Users MUST verify all extracted information.
- 3. ACCEPTANCE AND AMENDMENT OF TERMS
- 3.1We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and at any time, to amend, modify, update, or replace these Terms in whole or in part without prior individual notice. Such amendments shall become effective immediately upon posting the revised Terms on the Platform.
- 3.2It is your sole responsibility to periodically review these Terms to stay informed of any changes. Your continued access to or use of the Platform following the posting of any amended Terms constitutes your irrevocable, unconditional acceptance of and agreement to be bound by such amendments, regardless of whether you have reviewed or received actual notice of the changes.
- 3.3IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ANY AMENDED TERMS, YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY CEASE ALL USE OF THE PLATFORM AND TERMINATE YOUR ACCOUNT.
- 4. ELIGIBILITY
- 4.1By accessing or using the Platform, you represent, warrant, and covenant that you:
- (a)are at least eighteen (18) years old and possess full legal capacity under Malaysian law to enter into binding contracts and agreements;
- (b)if acting on behalf of an entity, you are duly authorized to bind such entity to these Terms and represent that such entity meets all eligibility criteria;
- (c)you will provide us with whatever proof of identity or any other documents, permits, licenses or approvals which we may reasonably request;
- (d)will only register one (1) account on one device, except as otherwise permitted by us;
- (e)you will not authorize others to use your identity or user status, and you may not assign or otherwise transfer your User account to any other person or entity;
- (f)are not subject to any suspension, prohibition, or sanction under Malaysian laws or any applicable jurisdiction that would restrict or prevent your lawful use of the Platform;
- (g)will comply with all applicable Malaysian laws, rules, and regulations, including but not limited to tax residency requirements, immigration laws, employment laws, licensing requirements, tax obligations, and work permit conditions relevant to your use of the Platform;
- (h)shall not use the Platform in violation of any applicable anti-money laundering, anti-corruption, anti-terrorism financing, or economic sanctions laws and regulations;
- (i)agree to assist us with any internal or external investigations as may be required by us in complying with any prevailing laws or regulations in place; and
- (j)are not and will not engage in any fraudulent, unlawful, or abusive conduct in connection with your use of the Platform.
- 4.2We reserve the absolute right, at our sole discretion and without prior notice or liability, to refuse service, deny access, suspend, or terminate your account or any associated accounts if we reasonably determine that you do not meet the eligibility criteria stated herein or if your use violates any applicable law, regulation, these Terms, or our policies.
- 5. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION AND SECURITY
- 5.1When registering an account on the Platform, you agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information about yourself or the entity you represent as prompted by the registration form. You further undertake to promptly update your account information to maintain its accuracy and completeness throughout your use of the Platform. Failure to provide or maintain accurate information may result in suspension or termination of your account and denial of access to Platform services.
- 5.2You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality, security, and integrity of your account login credentials, including your username, password, and any other authentication information associated with your account. You acknowledge that you are responsible for all activities that occur under your account, whether or not authorized by you. You agree to take all reasonable precautions to protect your credentials against unauthorized access, disclosure, or use.
- 5.3You must immediately notify us through the official support channels upon becoming aware of any unauthorized access to, or use of, your account, login credentials, or any other breach of security relating to your account. Prompt notification enables us to take necessary measures to protect your account and the Platform. Failure to promptly notify us may result in your liability for any unauthorized transactions or activities.
- 5.4Your account is personal to you and may not be transferred, assigned, sold, or shared with any third party under any circumstances. You shall not permit any other person to access or use your account, login credentials, or Platform services through your account. Any attempt to circumvent this restriction may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.
- 5.5We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to suspend, restrict, or terminate your account, access, or use of the Platform without prior notice or liability if we reasonably suspect any fraudulent, abusive, deceptive, or unlawful activities, including but not limited to the creation of multiple accounts to manipulate Platform offerings, impersonation of others, or violation of these Terms. Such actions may also be referred to law enforcement or regulatory authorities as appropriate.
- 6. USER CONDUCT AND PLATFORM USE
- 6.1You agree that your access to and use of the Platform shall be solely for lawful, authorized, and legitimate purposes consistent with these Terms, all applicable laws, regulations, and good industry practices. You shall not use the Platform for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or malicious activities.
- 6.2You must at all times refrain from engaging in any conduct or activity that:
- (a)violates any applicable local, national, or international law, statute, regulation, or order, including but not limited to laws relating to intellectual property, data protection, defamation, and cybercrime;
- (b)infringes, misappropriates, or violates the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, or any other legal or contractual rights of any third party;
- (c)uploads, disseminates, or transmits any content that is harmful, defamatory, libelous, obscene, pornographic, hateful, abusive, discriminatory, threatening, harassing, or otherwise objectionable or unlawful;
- (d)engages in spamming, phishing, hacking, unauthorized access, distribution of malware or viruses, or any other activity that disrupts, impairs, or compromises the security, integrity, or performance of the Platform or other Users' access;
- (e)attempts to impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity; and/or
- (f)attempts to manipulate or interfere with any aspect of the Platform, including circumventing payment systems, promotions, or fair usage policies.
- 6.3We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, to monitor, investigate, and take any remedial or corrective action deemed necessary, including but not limited to:
- (a)editing, restricting, removing, or disabling access to any User Content that violates these Terms or applicable laws;
- (b)suspending, restricting, or terminating the accounts or access rights of Users who violate these Terms or engage in prohibited conduct;
- (c)reporting illegal or harmful activities to relevant authorities or law enforcement agencies.
Such enforcement actions shall be without liability to us and shall not limit any other remedies available to us under law or equity.
- 7. USER OBLIGATIONS
- 7.1Users warrant and undertake that all information provided in any claim, zakat or profile on the Platform shall be truthful, accurate, complete, and not misleading. Users agree to update their claims, zakat or information promptly if any material changes occur.
- 7.2Users expressly acknowledge and agree that:
- (a)the Company makes no representations or guarantees that LHDN will accept any claim or zakat;(b)Users bear the sole responsibility for adding and updating claims or zakat. This includes undertaking all necessary due diligence to verify the eligibility of such items prior to their entry on the Platform;(c)the Users are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations relevant to their use of the Platform, including but not limited to Malaysian tax laws and data privacy requirements;(d)they shall indemnify and hold harmless the Company against any claims or losses or legal penalties arising from the user's data entries or any misuse of the Platform.
- 8. USER CONTENT LICENSE AND RESPONSIBILITY
- 8.1By submitting, uploading or otherwise making available any content on or through the Platform ("User Content"), you hereby grant to the Company and its affiliates a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free limited license to use, host, store, adapt, translate and process such User Content, in any format or medium now known or hereafter developed, for the sole purpose of operating and improving the Platform and related services. We will not share, sell, or publicly display your private records without your explicit consent or a valid legal order.
- 8.2You are solely responsible for all User Content you submit or upload on the Platform. You represent and warrant that your User Content:
- (a)will not violate any applicable laws, regulations, third-party rights, or these Terms;(b)will not infringe upon any intellectual property rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, or any contractual or fiduciary obligations;(c)is truthful, accurate, and not misleading; and(d)does not contain viruses, malware, or harmful code.
- 8.3The Company does not endorse, verify, or guarantee any User Content. We disclaim all liability arising from User Content, including but not limited to errors, omissions, defamatory or unlawful statements, or any damage resulting from reliance on such content.
- 8.4We reserve the absolute right, but do not assume any obligation, to monitor, review, restrict, remove, or disable access to any User Content that we determine, at our sole discretion, violates these Terms, applicable laws, or is otherwise objectionable. Such actions may be taken without prior notice or liability. You agree that we shall not be responsible or liable for any loss, damage, or harm caused by or related to the removal, restriction, or failure to remove any User Content.
- 9. COMPATIBILITY
- Different models or versions of routers, browsers and devices may have firmware or settings that are not compatible with our application and/or Platform. While we continuously develop our application and Platform in order to, as far as possible, support all commonly used devices and models in markets and all browsers where our application and Platform is likely to be accessed from, we do not warrant compatibility of our application and/or Platform with specific mobile devices or other hardware.
- 10. PAYMENTS, SUBSCRIPTIONS, AND FEES
- 10.1Free TierThe Platform provides storage and tracking services for the current assessment year and the immediately preceding assessment year free of charge unless explicitly stated otherwise. Users may access these core features to manage their recent tax records without a paid subscription.
- 10.2Premium Subscription PlansAccess to historical records (data older than the previous assessment year) and advanced functionality including but not limited to OCR digitalization, dashboards, automations and reminders, family sharing, customizable profile and other enhanced tools—requires a paid subscription. We reserve the right to introduce new premium features or transition existing features into paid tiers upon notice to users. The availability, features, and fees for these Premium plans will be clearly disclosed on the Platform prior to subscription.
- 10.3Fee Structure and BillingSubscription fees, billing cycles (such as monthly or annual), payment methods, and refund policies will be clearly outlined on the Platform. Users agree to pay all applicable fees and taxes associated with their selected subscription plan. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified.
- 10.4Payment Processing and SecurityAll payments made through the Platform are securely processed via reputable third- party payment service providers, such as Stripe or such other payment service providers as determined by us from time to time. We do not collect, store, or have access to your full payment information, including credit card details. Users agree to comply with the payment provider's terms and policies. The Company shall not be liable for any errors or disputes arising from payment processing by third-party providers.
- 10.5Changes to Fees and PricingWe reserve the right to revise subscription fees, pricing structures, or introduce new fees at our sole discretion. Such changes will take effect only after providing a minimum of thirty (30) calendar days' advance notice through the Platform, email, or other appropriate communication channels. Continued use of the Platform's paid features after such notice shall constitute acceptance of the revised fees.
- 10.6Failed or Delayed PaymentsIf payment of any subscription fee fails, is declined, or delayed due to insufficient funds, expired payment methods, or any other reason, we reserve the right to suspend or restrict your access to paid features until the outstanding amounts are settled. We may retry processing payments at reasonable intervals. Continued non-payment may lead to termination of your subscription without refund.
- 10.7Abuse and Fraudulent ActivitiesAny fraudulent activity, abuse, misuse, or manipulation of subscriptions, promotional offers, discounts, or the payment system including but not limited to creating multiple accounts to exploit offers, chargeback fraud, or unauthorized use of payment methods may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account. We reserve the right to pursue legal remedies and report such activities to appropriate law enforcement or regulatory authorities.
- 11. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
- 11.1Users may cancel their paid subscription plans at any time through their account settings or by following the prescribed cancellation procedures on the Platform. To avoid renewal charges for the subsequent billing period, cancellations must be submitted at least three (3) calendar days prior to the next scheduled billing date. Failure to cancel within this timeframe will result in automatic renewal and corresponding charges.
- 11.2Except as may be required by applicable Malaysian consumer protection laws, all subscription fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable, including for unused portions of the subscription period, early termination, voluntary cancellation, or suspension of the account. No partial refunds, credits, or pro-rata reimbursements will be provided under any circumstances.
- 12. DISPUTE RESOLUTION BETWEEN USERS AND THIRD PARTIES
- 12.1Non-Involvement in Tax DisputesThe Company is solely a digital record-keeping tool and does not participate in, manage, arbitrate, provide evidence for, or resolve any disputes between a User and the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN), tax agents, or any other government authority. The Platform's data display is for informational purposes and does not constitute a legal certification of your tax status.
- 12.2User Responsibility for Audit DefenseUsers expressly agree that in the event of an LHDN audit or investigation, they are solely responsible for providing original receipts and justifying their claims. We do not guarantee that the digital copies stored on our Platform will be accepted by tax authorities as primary evidence. The Platform is not a permanent storage or backup service. Users are responsible for maintaining their own independent backups of all receipts and data uploaded. The Company shall not be liable for any loss or corruption of data, regardless of the cause.
- 12.3Disclaimer of Advisory LiabilityAny interactions you have with third-party tax agents or consultants while using data exported from this Platform are strictly between you and said third party. The Company disclaims all liability for any advice, errors, or losses resulting from such third-party engagements.
- 13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OWNERSHIP
- The Company and its licensors, where applicable, shall own all right, title and interest, including all related intellectual property rights, in and to the Platform as well as any suggestions, ideas, enhancement requests, feedback, recommendations or other information provided by you or any other party relating to the same. These Terms do not constitute a sale agreement and do not convey to you any rights of ownership in or related to the Platform, or any intellectual property rights owned by us and/or our licensors. The Company's name, Company's logo, service, and the Platform are trademarks of the Company or third parties, and no right or license is granted to use them. For the avoidance of doubt, the term the Platform herein shall include its respective components, processes and design in its entirety.
- 14. DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY
- 14.1Compliance with Data Protection LawsWe respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 ("PDPA") and all applicable personal data protection laws and regulations in Malaysia. Our collection, use, disclosure, and storage of personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
- 14.2User ConsentBy using the Platform, you expressly consent to the collection, use, processing, storage, and disclosure of your personal data in accordance with these Terms and our Privacy Policy. This includes any personal data you provide directly or that is collected automatically through your use of the Platform.
- 14.3You acknowledge that, as a User, you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any third-party data (e.g., receipts belonging to family members) to the Platform and you agree to handle such personal data in compliance with applicable data protection laws and solely for the purposes permitted under these Terms.
- 14.4Failure by Users to comply with applicable data protection laws, these Terms, or our Privacy Policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of access to the Platform and related services, without prejudice to any legal rights or remedies available to the Company.
- 15. TERMINATION OF ACCESS
- 15.1Users may deactivate or delete their accounts at any time through the Platform in accordance with the procedure provided. Such deactivation or deletion shall not relieve Users of any obligations or liabilities incurred prior to termination.
- 15.2The Company reserves the absolute right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice or liability, to suspend, restrict, or terminate any User's account and access to the Platform if the User breaches these Terms, engages in unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive conduct, or otherwise misuses the Platform.
- 15.3Termination or suspension of access shall not affect any accrued rights, remedies, obligations, or liabilities of either party that arose prior to termination.
- 16. DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
- 16.1Disclaimer of WarrantiesTo the fullest extent permitted by law:
- (a)the Platform and all content, services, and features provided herein are supplied on an "as is," "as available," and "with all faults" basis without any warranties, express or implied;
- (b)we expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, availability, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing, usage, or trade practice; and
- (c)we do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components, nor do we guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content, User submissions, or information provided via the Platform.
- 16.2Limitation of LiabilityTo the maximum extent permitted by law, neither the Company nor its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, or agents shall be liable for any:
- (a)direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or aggravated damages;
- (b)loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, data, goodwill, or anticipated savings;
- (c)damages arising from loss, theft, or any other harm caused by or relating to any User, or use of the Platform;
- (d)damages resulting from unauthorized access, hacking, data breaches, or cyberattacks.
- 17. INDEMNIFICATION
- 17.1You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company, its affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives (collectively, the "Indemnified Parties") from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, expenses (including reasonable legal fees and expenses), judgments, fines, penalties, and other liabilities whatsoever arising out of or related to:
- (a)your use or misuse of the Platform, including any breach or alleged breach of these Terms;
- (b)your violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right, including intellectual property, privacy, or contractual rights;
- (c)any User Content or information you provide or upload to the Platform;
- (d)your interactions or transactions with third parties, including tax authorities, agents, or merchants, including disputes, claims, or damages arising from such interactions;
- (e)any negligent, reckless, or willful misconduct in connection with your use of the Platform.
- 17.2You agree that the Company shall have the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification, and you shall cooperate fully in such defense. This indemnification obligation shall survive termination or expiration of your account or these Terms.
- 18. CONFIDENTIALITY
- 18.1You shall maintain in confidence all information and data relating to the Company, its services, products, business affairs, marketing and promotion plans or other operations which are disclosed to you by or on behalf of the Company (whether orally or in writing) or which are otherwise directly or indirectly acquired by you from the Company, or created in the course of these Terms. You shall ensure that you only use such confidential information in order to use the Platform, and shall not without the Company's prior written consent, disclose such information to any third party nor use it for any other purpose.
- 18.2The above obligations of confidentiality shall not apply to the extent that you can show the relevant information:
- (a)was at the time of receipt already in your possession;
- (b)is, or becomes in the future, public knowledge through no fault or omission on your part;
- (c)was received from a third party having the right to disclose it; or
- (d)is required to be disclosed by law.

- 19.2The Company may give notice through the Platform, electronic mail to your email address in our records, or by written communication sent by registered mail or pre-paid post to your address in our records, wherever determined so by us. Such notice shall be deemed to have been given upon the expiration of 48-hours after mailing or posting (if sent by registered mail or pre-paid post) or 1-hour after sending (if sent by email). You may give notice to us (such notice shall be deemed given when received by us) via email sent to us as abovementioned
- 20. RELATIONSHIP
- Nothing contained in these Terms shall be construed as creating any agency, partnership, or other form of joint enterprise with us.
- 21. NO WAIVER
- Any failure by us, at any time or times, to require performance of any provision hereof shall in no manner affect our rights at a later time to enforce the same unless the same is waived in writing. It shall also not be constituted as a waiver of such right or provision.
- 22. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
- 22.1These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without regard to any conflict of law principles.
- 22.2You agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
- 23. GOVERNING LANGUAGE
- These Terms may be translated into multiple languages. In the event of any inconsistency, ambiguity or conflict between the English version and a translated version, the English version shall prevail.
